The source revealed that the two had failed to conceive naturally, so the “Sweet Escape” singer underwent numerous IVF treatments. However, the first attempts were futile.
“She’d given up on it because it wasn’t working and it was too emotionally grueling, but then she wanted to give it one more try,” the source furthered.
And alas, trying is indeed for the patient and prayerful. After visiting a top specialist in Los Angeles, it seems the two have finally conceived: “Gwen prepared herself – eating healthy, meditating, going to acupuncture sessions. Gwen has done it everything.”
Now, it seems like the couple is focusing on family life, especially with the arrival of a new family member.
